Doug Bitting - Keyboard
Doug Bitting, the keyboard player of the band, and the leader of
the organization, has been playing for over 40 years. He has played
in bands since the mid 60”s, in such groups as Spectrum of Sound. JUSTICE,
Roku, ENERGY, and he started LUCKY 7 in the early 90’s. After graduating
from a music academy at age 14, he still relies on his ability to hear
a tune, and play it by ear talent, and the exceptional music abilities of the members of LUCKY 7. The sky is the limit for this musical group. Doug can receive any inquiries or questions directly at goldhits@aol.com.

Bob Moser - Horn Section
Bob Moser comes to LUCKY 7 playing Trumpet, Trombone, Alto & Baritone Sax. Bob has played with another well known band JOYOUS, whom he performed with for many years. Bob has toured with many other area bands performing a wide range of musical styles such as Jazz Combos and Top Swing Bands. Bob’s talent and musical ability have made the Casino Horn section the best in the Lehigh Valley.

Bob Sedlock, Jr - Trumpet
Bob, a veteran trumpet player of 45 years and a prior Navy Band Trumpeter,
has done a world tour while serving with the USN. Bob has had his own
band the Silvertones, for over 15 years after leaving the Navy. He
has also played with Coverstory and the Bourbon Street Horns. Bob has
been with LUCKY 7 over 4 years and leads the Casino Horns with that
Funky style. He keeps the band’s web site current, and if anyone needs

Judy Brunst - Vocalist
Judy is the Lead Vocalist with LUCKY 7, performing R & B, Funk, Soul, and
Motown classics. Judy has performed with great bands like GOOD TIME CHARLIE
(classic rock & roll,
rhythm & blues) and the JAKE KALIGIS BAND, (hits from the 60’s-80’s as well
as original music).
Judy has numerous Lehigh Valley Music Awards including 2006 nominee for best
female vocalist; winner 2005 best rock band, live rock performance; 2004
Classic Hits Showdown; 2003-2004 / 99.9 the Hawk winner. Judy has also
been the recipient of the Willa-Taylor vocal endowment at Penn State
University in 1994-1995. Judy has prior Recordings, Operatic Experience
and Musical Theatre Experience.

Brad Peters - Horn Section
Brad also comes to LUCKY 7 after performing many years with JOYOUS. Brad has performed and toured with THE BUZZ JONES BIG BAND, in Germany, Switzerland, and the North Sea. He has also performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival. His talent is unending as he writes and arranges all the horn parts for the LUCKY 7 CASINO HORN section. His solid background and many years of experience have helped shape the unique sound of LUCKY 7.

Ron Galasso - Percussion
Ron has been playing percussion and drums for many years. He began studying
locally at an early age with Tony Farrell. He also studied with prominent
teacher Henry Adler of New York City. He also studied Marimba with Lou
Gatti also of New York City. Although his primary instruments of choice
are drums and percussion, Ron has a deep love for Jazz Guitar. Ron has
recorded, toured and performed professionally with Horizon, Tangerine,
Breakthru, The Bobby Taylor Show, Desire and Bowl-a-Soul."

J.L. Ortiz - Pepe
Pepe has been playing Bass for 33+ years. He has played with Street
People, Bittersweet, Gigolo, Induces and East Texas. He also writes Reggae
and Country Music. Pepe puts the "F" in Funk adding to Lucky 7's Rhythm
section, Country Playing Funk Musicman... Being a Rock Solid Bass Player
he just sets Lucky 7 up another notch... see our schedule to catch Pepe

Mel Shannon a.k.a "Jr." - Drums
Jr is the original drummer for Lucky7. He comes to this band with experience,
drive and determination for excellence. Not only is he the drummer, he
sings lead and background vocals. He has been playing drums since he
was 5 yrs old. His junior and senior, he walked away with almost all
the awards for stage band competition. In the 80’s, he had his own band called
Syndrome. He also played with several local bands. Jr would like to thank
his mentor, Lucky Lloyd who started this band. Lucky is the greatest
singer in the Lehigh Valley.
